I also worked for ODESIA solutions.
I developped a server application with Perl on Linux.
This application was a task manager with data stored in a Oracle 8 database.
I had the responsibility of network account and email creation and I had to maintain the NT and Linux servers.
I worked for Bell Helicopter Textron Canada.
I developped Microsoft Access 97 databases to accomodate the Operation project(industrial ingeneering) department.
I created daily reports, time study and estimates applications.
This reports go to the Finances, the factory managers and are used by the Operation project(industrial ingeneering) department.
As college final project, with four other students.
we had to analyse and develop a multi user database with Access 97 for the Language department of the CÉGEP Saint-Jérôme.
The purpose of that project was to allow students to manage their activities and allow the teachers to produce reports and statistics. The old system (on Foxpro)
was bugged and not compatible with the new needs of the "languages department". The new system includes a bar code reader, administration of the database by
designate users, security levels and statistics. For this project, they won an "OCTAS". The Contest of the OCTAS is a unique opportunity to recognize excellence
in the field of information technologies in Québec.
